The term "lichen" includes a number of dermatoses caused by different types of microbes, viruses and microscopic fungi. The course of the problem cannot be predicted, it appears suddenly, then also suddenly subsides, it is possible for months or years to develop slowly.

Useful foods for lichen

The diet that people with this disease should adhere to depends on the type of lichen, but in general, it is useful to consume foods such as:

  • dairy products (cream, kefir, butter);
  • green vegetables, including leafy, cereal snacks;

  • products that are fortified with iron (eg baby food);
  • honey.

Lichen, caused by the Herpes zoster virus, which affects nerve cells, is accompanied by fever, severe headache, malaise, skin inflammation and pain in the area of ​​the inflamed nerve. In this type it is recommended to consume:

  • foods high in vitamin E (almonds, hazelnuts, peanuts, pistachios, cashews, dried apricots, eels, rose hips, wheat, walnuts, spinach, squid, sorrel, white fish, prunes, oatmeal, wheat germ, vegetable oils , seeds);
