Hyperhidrosis (increased Sweating)

Increased sweating depends on nutrition. To reduce hyperhidrosis, it is good to limit the intake of hot drinks and alcohol.

On perspiration never frowned on, it significantly affect interpersonal relationships. Undoubtedly, increased sweating changes our lives. It is not particularly harmful to the body, but certainly affects the duration of contacts, wardrobe, leisure and other areas of social and personal life.

Heavy sweating usually occurs through enlarged pores. Everything necessary must be done to prevent the unpleasant odor. In addition to water treatments, anti-sweating measures include dietary restrictions. Of course, no one forces you to follow a diet, but to optimize your condition, many people with this problem must act responsibly.

Increased sweating depends on nutrition

In the presence of this condition, the intake of hot drinks should be limited. Wine, beer, vodka are absorbed instantly and expand the pores through which heat is released. Although the process is transient, it still has an unpleasant odor. In addition, these drinks remain deposits in the mouth that enter the digestive system. Each exhalation releases their remains, resulting in a very unpleasant breath.

The food you eat should not be too hot, so if your menu includes porridge, soups, leave them to cool, otherwise you risk sweating quickly and suddenly. The opinion that when eating hot dishes sooner or later all the sweat comes out is wrong. This does not depend on the amount of fluid released, but on the skin's natural thermoregulation.

About your menu you should exclude garlic and various spices. They not only leave a not very pleasant breath, but also stimulate sweating , which is unacceptable for people suffering from hyperhidrosis. Onions and black peppers are also banned. They are able to be retained and recycled by essential oils, thus coloring and removing sweat.

Another specific point, specifically concerning the sweating of the hands and feet. Extremely spicy food can be excreted through the sweat glands of the feet. This is usually associated with a terrible stench, so your breakfast should not include onions, peppers, garlic. Your hands sweat primarily from nerves, so try to get enough sleep and rest.

Proper nutrition in hyperhidrosis

The unfamiliar spicy food is a source of sudden sweating . Get acquainted with the composition of any dish you do not know. Indian traditional chewing gum, for example, includes nuts, cardamom, cloves, turmeric, nutmeg, tobacco, but also quicklime. Trying this delicacy, "sleeping" hyperhidrosis will definitely remind you of yourself. When chewing gum, they feel at the same time: bitterness, sweetness, salinity, tartness, the body will tremble successively from cold and strong heat.

You should not emphasize the pride of Brazilian cuisine feijoada, because the dish contains onions, garlic and hot pepper. But every rule has its exceptions. For example, in the Maghreb countries, hot tea should be preferred to a cold tonic, because if you choose carbonated sweetened water, unpleasant moments for the stomach are possible, as a result of which sweating increases.

Of course, it is very important to understand the causes of your sweating, but initially what you can do to help yourself is to forget about spicy foods, spicy foods, too hot foods, alcoholic beverages, which are especially dangerous to take during the hot time of the year. Antiperspirants can also be used - antiperspirants, deodorants.

Other foods that should be excluded from the menu:

  • products with a high content of stimulants (caffeine, theobromine): tea, coffee, cola, chocolate, energy drinks;
  • ketchup;
  • pork;
  • bean cultures;
  • sweet carbonated drinks.

They are all activators of the sympathetic nervous system, leading to endocrine and metabolic responses 40 minutes after ingestion of the product, thus causing intense sweating .

In addition to the above foods, the diet for hyperhidrosis implies reduced consumption of red meat, milk and dairy products in general, also strawberries.

If we talk about the composition of food, we must say that protein is "the most dangerous" for those suffering from hyperhidrosis . This is the reason why doctors recommend reduced consumption of products high in protein. In second place are carbohydrates, which are also able to cause increased sweating, thanks to the stimulated synthesis of insulin, which leads to an increase in adrenaline, which in turn increases body temperature and the result is sweating. Fats have the lowest thermogenic activity.

  • in the year
  • carrots
  • parsley
  • figs
  • curly cabbage

In addition to these products, your diet should be rich in calcium, which is actively excreted by the body during heavy sweating.

Every diet carries the risk of excluding some important products that are a source of vitamins, the supply of which could be costly to the human body. Trying to get rid of hyperhidrosis can lead to another disease. To prevent this from happening, try to follow some simple rules:

  • You do not need to drastically change your diet. Exclude only the "most dangerous" products from your menu that we mentioned above;
  • Eat more fruits and vegetables. This will not only provide the need for vitamins, but also strengthen your immune system as a whole, because in the treatment of the disease the body weakens.
