How to raise the dough in the oven and microwave

Yeast dough, which includes a lot of butter, eggs and other ingredients - for example, dough for Easter cakes, panettone, stollen, is suitable for quite a long time. And sometimes, unfortunately, the yeast dough remains unsuitable.

As you know, yeast dough loves heat. That is why it is very important to organize a warm atmosphere and peace for a good test approach.

It is very easy to raise it in the microwave. To do this, the covered dough is placed in the microwave along with a small glass of water. Then turn on the microwave at minimum power for 3 minutes, wait 3 minutes with the stove off. Then we turn it on again for 6 minutes at the same power and wait 6 minutes without opening the door.

We will show in detail 2 more methods: one of the oldest and a method in the oven - how to create favorable conditions for the dough for a qualitative approach.

Step 1

Prepare the yeast dough itself and 2 containers. One container (bowl) where the yeast dough will be and a second container for warm water (for example, a baking dish), which should be large, as well as a clean kitchen towel.

Step 2

Pour warm water into a large container, at a temperature of about 45 ° C. We measure the temperature by hand, if the water is pleasantly warming, and not very hot, then this is just the right temperature. Water should be no more than half the capacity.

Step 3

Put the yeast dough into a smaller bowl. And we put it in a container with water that we just collected. A bowl of dough may even stay afloat. As soon as the water begins to cool, change the water to hot. And so on until the dough grows to the size we need.

Step 4

Wet a kitchen towel with very hot water, unscrew and cover both containers. Periodically dip the towel again in hot water, twist again and cover the dough.

Step 5

Or we do not use heated water, but immediately use the method of technology. We put the bowl with the dough, covering it with the same wet hot towel, in the oven with a temperature of 40-45 ° C. And we reduce the allotted time according to the recipe by exactly 2 times. Or we put our dough in a bowl just in the oven, turn on the lighting lamp and close the door. Or we heat the oven to 45 ° C and turn it off, then close the door and turn on the light. The effect will be the same.

Step 6

Having reduced the resting time of the dough by 2 times, creating a warm atmosphere for it, we will get a magnificent breathable dough that has increased by 2-3 times. The dough is ready for further work.
