How to pickle green beans step by step instructions with photos

Step 1

 

For pickling, we need fresh green beans (green or yellow) - 500 grams, salt - 1 tbsp. l., sugar - 35 grams, table vinegar - 50 ml, sunflower oil - 50 ml, water - 250 ml, 3 bay leaves, garlic - 2 cloves, black peppercorns - 4 pcs., 3 allspice peas, mustard seeds - 1 tsp, saucepan, colander, knife, kitchen board.

Wash the beans well.

Cut off the ends of each pod and if it has a hard vein, remove it.

Step 4

 

Boil the beans in lightly salted water until tender (this will take 5 to 9 minutes, depending on the type of beans).

Prepare the marinade: combine water, salt, sugar, sunflower oil, peppers and bay leaf. Bring to a boil and boil for 2-3 minutes. At the end, add vinegar and chopped garlic.

Step 6

 

Put the prepared beans into the hot marinade. Cover with a lid and leave to cool completely. Then refrigerate for 1 day.

Marinated green beans are ready.
