Everyone knows about the benefits of garlic, although they remember this most often during the period of colds, when they use it to increase immunity and fight viral infections.
The composition of garlic includes a specific protein that activates the body's production of antibodies that protect it from adverse effects. The effectiveness of garlic in protecting against viral diseases is only slightly inferior to antibiotics. Garlic is also useful for high blood pressure: it dilates blood vessels. For a positive effect, it is enough to eat 1 clove of garlic per day. Garlic is able to prevent the formation of blood clots in the vessels. That is why, and also due to its specific taste and aroma, which improves the taste of dishes, garlic is actively used by housewives in various dishes.
The question often arises: is it possible to freeze garlic and why do it? Garlic can be frozen in order to add it to dishes at the right time. Garlic is frozen if it turned out to be too much and you see that it will deteriorate and disappear if it is not used or processed in time.
If, after harvesting the garlic, you see small heads with small cloves, which you will be reluctant to mess with in the winter and which will dry out or spoil in the first place, immediately process them. Peel this garlic, wash, dry and send to the freezer in a plastic container. Any time you need 1-2 cloves of garlic, you can take them for yourself from this container. It is very convenient and practical.
