Elderberries are used for rheumatism. An infusion of dried berries improves digestion. Black elderberries are recommended for stomach ulcers, diabetes, hepatitis. They contain a lot of vitamin C. Therefore, both in ancient times and now, housewives are trying to prepare black elderberry berries for the winter.
They make jams, jams, marshmallows, prepare mashed potatoes and juice. Drying is a great way to harvest black elderberries. Store dried berries in a cool, dark place in a tightly sealed container and use to make drinks and add to baked goods.
