Demodex

During demodex treatment, the goal is to restore immunity and increase it by following a proper diet. The menu should be rich in trace elements and vitamins.

Demodex is a skin disease that is caused by the parasitic activity of a microscopic skin tick that lives in the meibomian glands, sebaceous glands, human hair follicles.

Useful food products in demodex

During the treatment of the disease, the goal is to restore immunity and increase it by following a proper diet. The menu should be rich in trace elements and vitamins . Among the useful products in demodex are:

  • cooked lean meat;
  • dairy products (cottage cheese, yogurt, kefir);
  • products containing vegetable cellulose: fresh vegetables and unsweetened fruits (lettuce, boiled potatoes, broccoli , cabbage, carrots, apples, grapefruit (in small quantities), wholemeal bread, rice;
  • porridge (oat, buckwheat, wheat);
  • almonds , peanuts, raisins;
  • freshly squeezed juices.

Harmful foods with demodex:

  • products that irritate the gastrointestinal tract: spicy, salty, smoked and pasta dishes, fatty foods, bread and pasta;
  • foods that raise blood sugar levels and provide "nutrition" for parasites: pies, cakes, ice cream, etc .;
  • products containing histamine: citrus, honey, sausages, sausages, frankfurters, ripened cheeses, canned foods, mackerel, tuna, cocoa, alcohol, chocolate, egg white, pork liver , pineapple, strawberries, shrimp, tomatoes, avocados, aubergines , red wine, beer, bananas, sauerkraut.
