The required daily amount of vitamin C for adults is 90 mg. Consumption of a glass melon , depending on the variety it can obtain the body of 30 to 65 mg of vitamin C .

The required daily amount of potassium is 4700 mg. About 400 to 470 mg can be provided from the consumption of one cup of melon.
