It's a shame when shiny and bright when buying pans are covered with a layer of plaque, soot and fat. Often it seems impossible to wash them. But, as they say, the eyes are afraid, but the hands are doing. There are several effective ways to return "youth" to pans.

The shine of pots can be restored if you make it a habit to wipe them with toothpowder. You can then remove it with a dry cloth.

In the case of a serious burn, the main thing is not to panic, not to throw away the thing in a hurry, even if household chemicals did not live up to expectations.

A burnt pan should be filled with warm salted water and left for a couple of hours. Then pour soda on the darkened places, sprinkle with lemon juice and rub with a hard sponge. At one time, everything may not be wiped off, then again fill it with warm water and leave it overnight.

Nickel pans will regain their shine by rubbing them with lemon zest or a paste of salt and vinegar. Then they should be washed with clean water.

Sparkling enamelware is the pride of the kitchen, but over time it becomes covered with a dark coating and loses its luster. To return the original appearance, rub the dishes with sand or boil in a saline solution for about half an hour. If the contamination is local, then you can simply sprinkle with salt or soda, then rub with a hard washcloth.

A stainless steel pot is perfectly cleaned with vinegar, lemon juice or coffee grounds. The latter acts as a soft scrub, does not scratch, but successfully removes impurities.

No less popular are pans made of aluminum. In no case should you try to clean them hot. Wait until the dishes have cooled, and apply vinegar or lemon juice to the burnt places. Then fill it with water and keep it on medium heat for 15 minutes, turn off the heat after a quarter of an hour and leave the pan to cool for half an hour. The last step is to rinse the dishes under running water. You can use household chemicals.

Copper and brass pans are cleaned with sawdust paste. Mix vinegar, talc and sawdust. Apply to pans and let the paste dry. Then you can remove with a dry sponge or cloth.

Milk that has burnt to the bottom of the pan is difficult to clean. But there is one secret that can solve this problem. Rub the burnt places with activated charcoal, then fill with water and leave for half an hour. Already then you can wash the dishes with household chemicals or soda. Chronic fat can also be a challenge. Boiling in a salt solution (4 tablespoons per 1 liter) will help get rid of it. If you have no time to boil, you can simply pour the saline solution for 45 minutes, occasionally adding hot water. After this procedure, wipe the contaminated areas with a sponge and rinse in clean water.

Porridges are useful and nutritious, but after cooking they leave behind a difficult to remove trace. Milk porridge burns to the bottom of the pan. The easiest way to clean the bottom of the pot is to pour warm water into it, you can use dish detergent or liquid soap, and leave it for an hour. Then you should rub the dishes with a hard washcloth. If the porridge is particularly ingrained, use a powder detergent, in the absence of the latter, take soda. Yellow-dirty hard water scale can be removed by boiling pots with a couple of tablespoons of citric acid. It is possible that all the scale will not go away at once, in which case repeat the procedure by changing the water.
