Required products :

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 cube beef broth
  • 400 grams of canned tomatoes, mashed
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely grated
  • 1 red hot pepper, finely chopped
  • 250 grams of minced venison
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons flour

Method of preparation :

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and add half the onion, garlic, hot pepper and oregano.
  • Stew them for about 3-4 minutes and add the tomatoes. Stir and crush the cube of beef broth on top.
  • When the sauce simmers, reduce the heat and simmer on low heat.
  • Meanwhile, knead the minced meat, mixing the venison with the remaining onion, egg and flour in a medium bowl.
  • Form 12 meatballs and fry them briefly on all sides in another pan over medium heat.
  • Transfer them to the tomato sauce and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Serve the meatballs warm, garnished with your choice.
