Required products :

  • 500 grams of beef
  • 500 grams of pork
  • 500 grams of chicken meat / or whole chicken /
  • 300 grams of smoked blood sausage
  • 300 grams of smoked bacon
  • 2 pieces of sauerkraut
  • 1 tea glass of red wine
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 2-3 bay leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • black pepper and allspice grains
  • salt to taste
  • dough for sealing the clay vessel

Method of preparation :

  • Cut the beef, pork and chicken into portions, the blood sausage into thick slices, and the smoked bacon into medium-sized cubes.
  • Cut the cabbage and divide it into 5 equal parts.
  • At the bottom of a large clay pot / casserole / spread the bacon and cover it with 1/5 of the chopped sauerkraut.
  • Arrange the beef on it, then cover it with cabbage.
  • Next is the pork and sauerkraut again.
  • Sprinkle with spices and add salt if necessary.
  • Distribute the smoked blood and arrange the fourth part of the cabbage on it.
  • The last row is with chicken and cabbage again.
  • Pour the wine and water over the kapama and seal the lid of the casserole with dough.
  • Put the clay pot in a strong oven until the dish boils, then cook on medium heat for about 3-4 hours or more, if necessary.
