Necessary products:

  • 1 liter of yogurt
  • 600 grams of cucumbers
  • connection dill
  • a handful of crushed walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • lettuce leaves
  • a few cloves of garlic

Method of preparation:

Cut the cucumbers into small cubes, mash or crush the garlic, crush the walnuts as well. Finely chop the dill and lettuce and mix with the walnuts, cucumbers and garlic. To this combination add yogurt, salt to taste and then olive oil. Mix well and pour water according to the desired density of the tarator.

 

There are many different ways to prepare tarator: without walnuts, instead of dill you can use coriander, lettuce is replaced by radishes. Experiment and make the most delicious summer soup, but do not forget that yogurt and cucumbers are mandatory ingredients for the dish.
