Necessary products:

  • 2 cups peeled sunflower seeds
  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 0.5 cups unrefined sunflower oil
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 1 cup peanuts (better peeled)
  • 8 tablespoons water

Method of preparation:

Roast the sunflower seeds and grind them. Bake the flour until golden, mix it with the seeds, stir and grind again. Then roast the peanuts, add them to the resulting mixture. It's time for the oil - put it on and stir.

Prepare the syrup: Mix the sugar with the water and bring to the boil. Remove from the heat when the sugar is completely melted. Let cool a bit and add to the mixture with the nuts. Mix well and distribute in molds or other containers greased with oil.

You can add raisins or other dried fruits of your choice to the halva. You can also change the amount of sugar according to your preferences.
