1 medium onion head

2 large cloves of garlic

3 tablespoons melted butter

6 - 7 teaspoons of water or broth of your choice

1 tablespoon tomato paste

spices of your choice (you can use: cumin, cardamom, paprika, parsley, etc.)

Method of preparation :

Wash and chop the sorrel (or spinach), add salt, mash with your hands and leave for 20 minutes. Then drain and mash again. Wash the cleaned lens. Finely chop the onion and garlic, fry them briefly in the fat over medium heat, add red pepper. Pour the lentils and tomato paste, stir and after a few minutes pour the boiling broth or water. When the soup boils, add salt and reduce the temperature. Make a "bag" of spices (tie them in gauze) and put them in the soup. Cook until the lentils are ready, when cooked, add the beans and sorrel. Remove the spice bag, sprinkle with dry parsley (maybe savory), cook for another 2 minutes and remove the dish from the heat.

Serve with lemon sauce, hot pepper and salt. To make it, you need the juice of 5 lemons and crushed chili pepper with salt.

Enjoy your meal!
