Required products :

  • 300 grams of crab meat, shredded
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • small bunch of coriander, finely chopped
  • 1 red hot pepper, cleaned of seeds and chopped
  • 2 limes - the bark of one, and the other cut
  • 100 grams of bread without crusts (you can use gluten-free)
  • 4 1/2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 broken egg
  • frying oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Grind the bread into crumbs with a convenient device.

In a bowl, mix the meat with onion, coriander, hot pepper, lemon peel and squeeze its juice, add 50 grams of crumbs and mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper and mix all products well.

Divide the mixture into 12 parts and form small balls. Cool them for 30 minutes.

Put the beaten egg in a bowl and spread the remaining crumbs in a shallow dish. Dip the meatballs in the egg, then roll in the bread crumbs.

Fry in a pan with a large amount of fat - about 2.5 centimeters.

Fry the meatballs and drain them on kitchen paper.

Serve with lettuce, extra mayonnaise and lime slices.
