Poached salmon, smoked, fried in a pan, baked in the oven or on the grill - it does not matter how you prepare it, because it is still delicious. It is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and in combination with lettuce or potatoes you will get a full lunch or dinner.

Required products :

  • 500 grams of salmon fillet
  • 50 grams of butter
  • 2 small onions, chopped
  • 150 milliliters of sparkling wine (or champagne)
  • 100 milliliters of cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • dill for serving (optional)

Method of preparation :

Melt the butter in a pan heated to a high temperature. Fry the salmon for about 1 minute and pour in sparkling wine.

 

Reduce heat and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Turn the fish over, add more wine and leave on the fire until ready. Turn once or twice and top up with wine if necessary. Serve the salmon in a warm plate and cover with a lid or foil.

Add the onion and cream to the pan with the wine sauce and simmer for 1-2 minutes or until thickened.

 

Serve the salmon with sauce, dill and lettuce or potatoes if desired.
