How To Cook Quick Strudel With Jam, Apples And Walnuts - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 flat Armenian bread (lavash)
  • 2 medium apples
  • 2 tablespoons jam (apricot or other)
  • 2.5 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 70 grams of butter
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • powdered sugar for sprinkling

 

 

Method of preparation :

Peel the apples, clean them from the core with the seeds and cut them into random pieces. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar to them and place on the stove until they release their juice and acquire a golden color.

 

Add jam, stir and stew for another 5 minutes.

 

Beat the egg with the remaining sugar (1/2 tbsp).

 

Grate the butter. Crush or chop the walnuts.

 

Spread the bread on the hob, spread with the egg mixture, put half of the grated butter, the filling and sprinkle with walnuts.

 

Roll up without squeezing or flattening. Coat the surface with the remaining oil. Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 10-15 minutes.

 

When the finished strudel cools, sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
