Necessary products:

1 kg of dough (mixed with yogurt and yeast)

1-2 cloves grated garlic

350 grams of finely grated yellow cheese (or cheese)

100 grams of grated butter

oil

Method of preparation:

Make small balls of dough. To prevent it from sticking, grease your hands and the hob with oil. Mix the yellow cheese, butter and garlic. Flatten the balls of dough and put the filling in the middle. Close the edges (like patties) and form balls. Carefully roll them with a rolling pin, which you have previously greased with oil. Leave the pearls for 10-15 minutes and bake in a pan (maybe on the grill). The dough should be 1-1.5 cm thick. You can also fry as mekici in more fat, then you will get a different taste. 

Serve hot with yogurt.
