Required products :

700 grams of mackerel

2 tomatoes

2 onions

2 tablespoons tomato paste

60 milliliters of oil

salt to taste

4 - 5 grains of black pepper

2 - 3 bay leaves

300 milliliters of water

 

Method of preparation :

Cut the cleaned fish into pieces.

Finely chop the onion and tomatoes.

Heat the oil in a saucepan, add the onion, sauté until transparent and add the tomatoes. A minute later, add the tomato puree and let the products cook for another 4-5 minutes, stirring.

Pour the water, season with spices and wait for the mixture to boil.

Then put the fish in it and stew for 15 minutes, then close the container with a lid and let everything simmer for another 10 minutes.

 

The dish is ready. You can serve both hot and cold.
