Required products :

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 200 grams of ham, sliced
  • 2 zucchini, cut into cubes
  • 1 pepper, finely chopped
  • 200 grams of mushrooms, chopped
  • 500 grams of tomato sauce
  • 3 fresh lasagna leaves, cut into 3 pieces
  • 200 grams of ricotta
  • 1/2 cup grated yellow cheese, cheddar, Swiss cheese or more.

Method of preparation :

Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the onion and ham for about 2-3 minutes. Add the zucchini, peppers and mushrooms. Cook until the vegetables are soft, stirring occasionally so that they do not stick to the bottom. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the tomato sauce and after it boils, reduce the temperature. Let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes until it thickens. Transfer to a bowl and wipe the pan.

Brush it with a little olive oil and put 3 pieces of lasagna at the bottom. Spread 1/3 of the tomato sauce and 1/3 of the ricotta on top. Repeat in the same order, and finally sprinkle with yellow cheese.

Turn on the oven to the grill function (top rack only) and bake for about 10 minutes under a lid. Then remove the lid and bake for another 4 minutes to give the cheese a delicious tan.

Serve with toast and basil.

You can also bake the lasagna on the pan under a lid, in which case put the yellow cheese at the beginning, but it will not acquire a crispy crust.
