Required products :

  • 450 grams of minced pork
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 6 cloves garlic, pressed or grated
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 800 grams of canned tomatoes
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 6 teaspoons water or chicken broth
  • 230 grams of pasta of your choice
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

For garnish :

  • grated parmesan
  • fresh parsley

Method of preparation :

 

  • Stew the minced meat in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  • Season with salt and pepper and add onion. Stir and cook for about 5 minutes until soft.
  • Add garlic, oregano, basil, stir and after 2 minutes add the tomato puree.
  • When it starts to brown slightly, add the tomatoes, bay leaves and water (or chicken broth).
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, stir and bring to a boil.
  • Add the pasta and cook for about 20 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Pour the soup into bowls, garnish with grated Parmesan and fresh parsley and serve.
