How To Cook Halva With Pomegranate - Recipe

Necessary products:

  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 125 milliliters of maple syrup, agave or melted honey
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 340 grams of light tahini
  • 4 tablespoons pomegranate seeds
  • 2-3 tablespoons of honey
  • pinch of Himalayan salt

Method of preparation:

Melt the coconut oil at a very low temperature. Add the selected syrup (maple, agave), vanilla and salt. Add the tahini and mix well with a fork until you get a smooth mixture. Add the pomegranate seeds (leave a little for decoration) and press with a fork so that they crack.

In a small pan covered with cling film, pour half the mixture and add 2-3 tablespoons of honey, stirring lightly with the tip of a fork or stick. Pour the other part of the halva.

Garnish with pomegranate seeds and leave in the freezer. Cut a few pieces and enjoy the delicious dessert. Store in the refrigerator or chamber.
