Required products :

  • 1/4 teaspoon + 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3/4 teaspoon hot red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 24 dried figs, cut
  • 1 egg
  • 1 sheet of thawed puff pastry
  • 200 grams of goat cheese
  • poppy seeds for sprinkling

Method of preparation :

In a saucepan with 1 teaspoon of water put vinegar, honey, black pepper and red flakes, salt. Add the figs and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened - about 7-10 minutes. Transfer to a plate and allow the jam to cool.

Beat the egg with 1 tablespoon of water.

Roll out the dough into a rectangle, from which cut strips about 8-9 centimeters long and 3 centimeters wide.

Put the cheese in the halves of figs (from the jam) and wrap in strips. Arrange them on a plate, spread with beaten egg and sprinkle with poppy seeds.

Arrange in a tray lined with paper and bake for 15-18 minutes until golden.
