How To Cook Crispy Cod Fillet - Recipe

Required products :

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest, finely grated
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 4 cod fillets (about 170 grams each)
  • salt to taste

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

Melt the butter in a small pan and fry the garlic, stirring for 30 seconds or until fragrant. Add the breadcrumbs and fry until golden brown (about 5 minutes). Remove the pan from the heat, add the parsley and lemon zest and set aside.

Homogenize the mayonnaise and mustard in a small bowl. Rinse the cod fillets and dry. Season each fillet with salt, then place them on aluminum foil and spread with a mixture of mayonnaise and mustard. Garnish on top with the fried breadcrumbs and transfer to a pan. Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.

Serve the crispy cod fillets with a garnish of boiled potatoes and carrots if desired.
