Required products :

  • 700 grams of chicken breast, cut into thin strips
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • frying oil

For garnish / optional / :

  • homemade ketchup
  • hot milk sauce

Method of preparation :

  • In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper. Stir.
  • Pour the buttermilk into another bowl.
  • Dry the chicken with kitchen paper.
  • Dip each chicken bite in the buttermilk, then roll it in the flour bowl. Periodically stir the dry mixture to distribute the breadcrumbs evenly.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat and fry the meat, turning it often, until it turns golden brown.
  • Transfer the chicken pieces to a wire rack under which you have placed kitchen paper to drain off the excess fat.
  • Serve with homemade ketchup, hot milk sauce or anything else of your choice.
