How To Cook Carrot Pesto With Walnuts, Garlic And Parmesan - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Carrot pesto with walnuts, garlic and parmesan". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 3 tea cups grated carrots
  • 1/2 cup roasted walnuts, chopped in bulk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 tea cup cold pressed olive oil

Method of preparation :

 

  • Combine the grated carrots, walnuts, parmesan, garlic and salt in a blender and mash until the carrots and walnuts are finely chopped.
  • Return the mixture to the walls with a spoon, switch on the appliance again and gradually add olive oil without switching off the blender.
  • Puree until smooth and transfer to a bowl.
  • Garnish the carrot pesto with walnuts and serve.

Note!

If the consistency is too thick for your taste, add a little more olive oil, but not more than 1/2 cup in total .
