Required products :
400 grams of beef liver
3 onions
1 juice of 1 orange (or lemon)
20 milliliters of cognac
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon mint
3/4 teaspoon olive oil
salt and pepper
Method of preparation :
Heat the fat and fry the liver in it until a brown crust forms on its surface. Then add the chopped onion and let it fry until light brown.
Then pour the cognac, and 3 minutes later the orange juice. Reduce heat and season with salt, pepper, oregano and mint.
Close the pan with a lid and let the dish cook for 5 minutes.
You can now serve it warm as an appetizer or with a garnish of mashed potatoes or rice - as a main course.
