Without sweets and such temptations, our lives would be uninteresting and boring. Scientists have proven that desserts improve mood and protect us from depression. On the other hand, no one wants to accumulate excess fat on their waist. But, in fact, the question is not which to choose: good mood or a graceful figure; and how to choose the right dessert. In this regard, the kiss is very suitable for people who follow diets, because it does not contain fat, unlike cakes and other sweet temptations. The calorie content in 100 grams of kisses is about 300 (this is the average caloric content compared to other confectionery). The presence of calories is compensated by the lack of fat, which fills up significantly faster and more than protein and carbohydrates.

Useful properties of the kiss

The kiss is prepared from sugar, fruit puree, egg white and one of the three gelling substances: gelatin, pectin or agar. The useful properties of the product are determined depending on which gelling agent is used in the composition.

Agar and pectin are of plant origin. Pectin is made from apples, sugar beets or watermelons and is recommended for people who are exposed to radiation. It removes from the body the ions of heavy metals, various toxins; significantly lowers blood sugar and cholesterol; has antiulcer and antiviral effects.

Agar is made from seaweed and is high in calcium, iron and iodine.

Gelatin is a gelling substance of animal origin. It is prepared from the cartilage, tendons and bones of animals. Therefore, it is usually recommended for use on broken and cracked bones.
